Notice Drafting
Our experts design notices that satisfy the plain language amendment to Rule 23. They are written in clear, concise, plain language, are designed to capture the attention of class members, and follow the “illustrative” model notices prepared by the Federal Judicial Center. Working in unison with the parties, we ensure that our notice documents clearly and accurately convey case details in an unbiased manner, so that those affected can make an informed decision about their rights and options.
Notice Dissemination
When mailing lists are available, current and/or easy to update, individual notice is the most desirable method of dissemination. Our unique mailing protocols save time and minimize expenses, as well as result in a high delivery rate to ensure that mailing efforts are reasonable and successful. Whenever possible, we design claim forms that are pre-printed with class members' names and addresses along with all relevant transaction information to minimize expenses associated with claims processing, improve accuracy, and help class members file complete claims. We format and proof the notice and claim form before presenting them for client approval. Once approved, the notices and claim forms are printed and mailed in the most efficient method available. We have mailed more than 24 million notices and claim forms in a single case and we have the capacity to mail more than one million pieces per day.
When lists are not comprehensive or easy to update, a media-based or combined mailing/media notice program may be necessary. With a background in media planning and buying, our experts are responsible for the design and implementation of many of the largest notification programs in recent history.
